DBM/DBY Hydraulic Disc Brake (Air Hydraulic Disc Brake)
- DBM models are available in left-hand (L-type) and right-hand (R-type) configurations due to different Jaws tube opening positions (left image shows right-hand model). Please specify the type (L/R) when ordering.
- Also known as Chuck type, Caliper type brakes (Caliper Disc Brake)
Categories: Hydraulic Disc Brake (Air Hydraulic Disc Brake)
🚀Product Description
The DBM/DBY hydraulic disc brake (oil disc brake) operates by applying pressure through brake fluid from the hydraulic pump (or master cylinder) when the braking system is activated. This pressure pushes the piston, causing the brake pads (brake linings) within the brake caliper to clamp onto the brake disc (brake rotor), generating a braking effect. Furthermore, when paired with a BST air-hydraulic booster (pneumatic-hydraulic booster), it can be driven pneumatically, using 0.1-0.6MPa air pressure to adjust the braking force. It is suitable for various industrial equipment, such as screw machines, wire and cable manufacturing machines (wire drawing machines), traveling cranes and rotary cranes, tire manufacturing machines, and more.
The DBM series is divided into DBM 10 and DBM 20 models. Please use standard brake fluid (DOT3 or DOT4 or higher) as the brake fluid. If you wish to use other mineral oil (hydraulic oil), please inform us in advance.
The DBY series includes DBY 10B and DBY 10K
- DBY 10B uses brake fluid as the operating source.
- DBY 10K uses mineral oil (hydraulic oil) as the operating source.
🚀Product Features
- High heat resistance, high wear resistance, and high durability design to ensure stable operation even in harsh environments.
- Brake disc (brake rotor) design ensures maximum air contact area, effectively improving heat dissipation and preventing performance degradation caused by brake overheating. Even during prolonged continuous braking, the disc surface temperature can be maintained within a controllable range to ensure stable braking performance.
- Modular design, simple assembly and disassembly, convenient for daily inspection and maintenance, minimizing equipment downtime.
