NIIKA’s PCCU is an integrated design combining a clutch and brake into one unit. It utilizes pneumatic (air) actuation for engagement and spring applied for braking, featuring compact size, high torque, and agile and rapid response.

⚠️Precautions for Use

1. Prohibition of Lubricating Oil and High Humidity Environment

        • PCCU pneumatic (air) clutch and brake combination units are designed for dry operation only. It is strictly forbidden to use any oil or lubricant on the friction surface or operate in high humidity or high oil mist environments for extended periods. Otherwise, it may cause slippage of the friction surface, reduce transmission efficiency, and even lead to abnormal mechanical operation or damage.

2. Working Pressure

        • The normal working pressure is 5 atm (0.5 MPa), and the maximum allowable pressure is 6 atm (0.6 MPa).
        • Exceeding the maximum allowable pressure may cause cylinder deformation or rupture, compromising system safety.

3. Brake Pad (brake linings, friction pads, brake blocks) Replacement

        • Do not use non-NIIKA original factory-specified brake pads (brake linings, friction pads, brake blocks), as it may cause:
          • Decreased transmission efficiency
          • Abnormal mechanical operation
          • Mechanical damage
